I did some digging around, and I just wanted to know if anyone have had experiences with Junk Removal services, got some boxes and such lying around and time is a concern with work and such for my move...

go to http://www.1800gotjunk.com/ca_en/wha..._we_price.aspx
and put in your postal code and you can get a ideal estimate on removing junk
$153 for 1/8 full truck and $598 for a full load truck... i didnt see anything that's $800 bucks
I've used them once to remove 3 chairs, 1 desk, 6 boxes of goods for $179.00 but that was last year ..price may have changed
OP: if its your personal good and not commercial, you can post on CL as murd0c stated or even RS and offer a little bit of money
the other option is to spend some time and gather all goods and donate to nearest charity or value village

Its pretty expensive, so unless you have something that weighs a ton and you cant move it yourself or dont have the car space for it..
If you have a lot of stuff to throw away, Id recommend renting a small or medium sized truck for the day.. Get a couple of friends to help you and you'll save wonders. http://www.budgettruck.com/home.aspx?partnerid=65

If you want to get rid of it quick post it on Craigslist's free section and state in your ad that everything must go at once, no picking out specific items. It's worked for me in the past.

if money is a factor, u can use this recycling plant. All you need is to rent a van/truck to load your junk and just drop it off at this plant. its like 20 bucks for 500 lbs worth of junk. Cheap compared to any junk removal services. http://vancouver.ca/engsvcs/solidwas...sfer/index.htm |

May is Junk removal month for Vancouver residents. It's a free service provided by the City. Check the city of vancouver for dumping dates. It's only for the time of May so throw away your beds or whatever. I believe the dump site is in Delta but it's free!

make sure whoever you are hiring, they are insured by wcb
cause if they hurt their back loading their truck on your property, they can come after you
