K-SPORT air suspension anyone has experiences with it? it's much cheaper then the rest car: 99 accord v6 the other one I saw is airrunners which runs 4k comparing to ksport for under 3 |
some of the G35driver.com guys are sponsored by Ksport, and they basically say it's a decent setup. And these are airbagged guys who know their shit. One of them has a full sponsorship from Ksport USA and actually declined a free set from them and paid full price for the Universal Air System (UAS) which runs around 4 grand. Basically telling you the Ksport air system is a good starter setup but don't expect from it what you would for higher end setups that run north of 3k. that's just from their firsthand experience so I guess it would help you out. I considered air suspension too but changed my mind, gonna go with a cup kit in the front instead. Yes it's expensive but it's more reliable and safer, and I get to keep the coilover performance too. |
isn't a cup kit just regular coils? i remember my friend had a h&r cup kit for his gti |
yea a cup kit just basically goes over the top of your current coilover setup so you get to keep the coilovers and handling. Here's a picture and video of a California made Phantom Cup kit that retails for $2500!! the price point and reliability factor of this over Air suspension is probably tickling you right now I bet, lol... the only advantage Air suspension has over cup kits in many people's opinions is that you can raise and drop a few inches higher than cup kits which only allow around 3 inches. But that's not even really a disadvantage because you can still adjust your coilovers to specified height anyway so it's all good. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_QbgrTG4pWl...0+17.12.39.jpg |
that's sweet!!!! i want that |
yea man, same here. I plan on slamming my car this summer when I get my new wheels. If I have major problems daily driving it and getting in and out of places, I'm gonna end up getting this Phantom kit for my front only, I think for the front it's around $1600. I only have a body kit in the front so that's the only part of the car I need to raise for clearance anyway |
Ya, when go in and out of work I got to either take my bumper off or take my lip off right now, which isn't easy. For 1600 it's worth it and I don't see a need for the rear. Thanks man, I'm going to email them see if their kits can fit my tein ss Posted via RS Mobile |
