Different tire size, safe to use?

Hi guys, I got a question regarding tire size and safety issues.

My OEM tires are rated at 205/60/16. I was wondering if either 215/55/16 or 225/55/16 will be safe to mount on the OEM rims. I know the 215/55/16's width will be closer to spec but the difference in real speed vs speedometer will be more than the 225/55/16 tire. I'm just worried that the tire might be too wide to mount on the OEM rim if I do choose 225/55/16.

Anyone have experience with this issue and can shed some light? Thanks!

225/50R16 do it. How wide are your rims?
