RAW to JPEG coming out blurry Anyone know why my JPEG's are coming out blurry after i convert it from RAW? So here's what i did 1. Used Digital Photo Professional (program that came with my Canon, I know it's probably not the best program to use, but i'm not sure what other programs can handle RAW) 2. Did a little bit of editing using DPP 3. Save as and convert to JPEG 4. Took the JPEG and resized to ~60% using Paint when i compared the 3 pics (RAW, JPEG, and resized JPEG), the JPEG was noticeably blurry and looked out of focus, whereas the RAW and resized JPEG looks normal. I kinda suspect it's the DPP, but i find it weird that after reducing the size of the picture with Paint, the picture becomes more focused. |
Get lightroom 3 beta and try it out. I use that on my Nikons |

every picture i edited i cranked up the sharpening to at least 400. When saving and converting, I left it at default settings, the image quality is set at 10 out of 10. and the output resolution is 350 dpi. will the resized image look sharper even though the image on my monitor is physically the same size (ie 14.1 inch screen)? |

what are you saving your files as and at what quality? |
