i want to be able to fail SkinnyPuppy

Are there any "specific" mods I can report some fail button abusers? I tried to report a post with information about the fail abusing but no action.......

lol, before fail/thank, it seems i racked up a pretty good impression on a lotta e-thugs on RS.

Just look at the tailgaters thread in VOT... i got failed all of 5x more than anyone who said the exact same thing, or perhaps usually something that's much less offenseive than the last person.

If you spot a serial re-occuring "failer" I would suggest the following:

1. Click on "Report Post To Moderator"
2. Post the offending member's name in this thread.

The mods responsible for the specific forum in which the post was made in will get a notification. Also, by posting it here, you will get a higher visibility of your report as this forum can be accessed by all mods. In the event that you do report a member who abuses their fail button, do not fret as we need some time to asses the situation and to decide how to deal with it accordingly. As you can see, we have dealt with re-occuring/major offenders so we do listen and take these cases seriously.

But yeah, I tried reporting the post of the fail button abuser, in the specific forum, but no luck. Anyway, I'd like to report "AutozamAZ-3".

He's been going through all my threads and posts, and failing my posts such as "bump". I don't see any reason why that deserved a fail...this may be a case of "revenge failing". There was a fight club thread a while ago, and he posted a really immature, flame post so I failed that post. Guess he got angry about 1-2 fails I've gave him, and now he's been stalking me and failing most of posts for no reason at all.

Just some examples from my user profile, there's more. I don't mind being failed at all, but when there's someone stalking you around the forums and failing all your posts just because you got 1, is just ridiculous.

I think the best solution would be when you get a certain amount of "thanked posts", you should be able to use the fail button. But, just like Autozam, some people may just spam out the thanks button, so I don't know.

It'd be nice if I could get those "fails" removed from my profile, better yet, having his button removed.

well, this is rather an epidemic.

So, as BCRdukes already mentioned, please report the posts and person who abuses the fail option. Moderators will review to assess the situation accordingly.

those who gets their FAIL button taken away will no longer be able to use it, permanently, once it's gone, it's gone for good.

lol.. but some of those fails are legit.

like the ones where you are trying to tell the OP to not bump so often. Instead, you could have PM'ed the OP.

^Hm, okay. I mean, its only him that's failing me for doing that. I've always told certain users to bump only once per 2 days, and he's the only one failing me...so.......

But yeah, I'll keep that in mind, I'll pm the OP next time.

i normally take fails with a grain of salt...but failing back just for the hell of it when you are 100% incorrect is abuse...esp if one doesn't bother replying back.
