Keurig Coffee Maker Question

Is there any product out there where you can use a tossimo disc or nescafe pod in a keurig coffee maker?

all i can find online is an adapter for paper tea/coffee pods like the one below, but not one where i can use capsules from other 1cup machines.

i'm the only coffee drinker so it would be nice if i can make the more fancier drinks for the wife. TIA

To my knowledge, no. It's not possible. The "pod" system has its disadvantages and your situation is unfortunately one of them. That in itself was a major turn-off when I made a decision in buying a prosumer espresso machine or a pod system.

it's a shame. i opened up a k-cup and it's really just a filter in a cup that gets holes poked in to. i might risk getting a dolce gusto box and try to hack n slach it open to get it to work in a kcup :P

If it is at all possible, try to avoid these pod/cup systems. Market research shows that they don't sell well and companies will eventually discontinue them within the next few years.

^FML I just bought my dad a Tassimo for his birthday.

keurig's have a re-useble filter where you can put your own coffee grinds in, so you can put timmy's starbucks, etc. you might wanna try searching if tassimo has something similar. at least that way if the discs are discontinued, you'd still have a fancy coffee maker

I think for me what made me choose Tassimo over the Keurig is the fact that it does more than brew drip coffee. I like the option of being able to make latte and cappucino, which I don't think the Keurigs do.

And no, Tassimo doesn't have the fancy reusable k-disc. :(

yeh i didnt do enough research and sorta impulsed bought a keurig. i'd like to have the fancy stuff now so now i'll have to try to get creative :P

the tassimo fancy latte type drinks requires 2 discs right? 1 for milk 1 for flavour?

Correct. One is for milk and the other is for the espresso. I don't see a difference between the latte and the capuccino tho. But then I haven't drank both.

on a side note, we had these coffee machines at work, but because it wasn't 'real' coffee, people kept on unplugging the thing and not using it when the supplier kept on pushing.
we would go thru so many cup of these tiny little cups it's not even fully.
