I'm not saying Asus sucks but this is vanity branding to the extreme. If anything I would assume you'd see Alienware release something like this. I know Alienware is Dell's vanity brand but it would seem more appropriate.

Asus (while a decent brand) still has a ways to go before people will look at them with any level of prestige.

I may be a bit of fan boy, but I don't see any other computer brand that carries the prestige Asus has (sure lambo models are gimmicky...but their business line is really great). only rival that comes to mind is the MB Air.

LiquidTurbo 06-04-2010 02:12 AM

Terrible. The taillights are even stupider. Just my opinion tho'!

ericthehalfbee 06-04-2010 07:01 AM

They should have put air intakes on the side and an exhaust on the rear for the cooling fans to blow through.

7seven 06-04-2010 07:45 AM

Well since I'm not really into computers, I don't really want one. I'll stick to simple store bought off the shelf laptops

Strzelec 06-04-2010 08:05 AM

Asus isnt really prestigious but i ALWAYS use them. From the hundreds of systems i've put together for people, Asus has been the most reliable by far. For a notebook, i would NEVER buy anything but asus, 1 year accidental damage warranty FTW.

hotjoint 06-04-2010 08:45 AM

cool

TylerY 06-04-2010 09:40 AM

I have one of the models from a few years back and the build quality and look actually make it worth the price. If someone is interested tho I'd consider letting it go at a reasonable price to get this one. PM for details.

The new laptop build quality has downgraded.

Kim Jong Un 06-04-2010 01:24 PM

I'll pass.

sleazyho 06-04-2010 02:26 PM

It's gonna be hard not looking like a tool carrying this around.
