Hyundai Genesis on special

http://www.hyundaicanada.com/Pages/S...romotions.aspx

21k for a Genesis Coupe is quite a deal FR 6spd turbo

if FT86 was to succeed it was supposed to be sold at what this is selling at. But Hyundai is picking up the tab.

jpark 06-03-2010 06:07 PM

hmm attempting

J-Chow 06-03-2010 06:12 PM

Damnit. Why couldn't they have released the genesis back in 2006. I'd take that over my suby.

vexor 06-03-2010 06:26 PM

but that price is only if your doing a cash purchase, no price adjustment for financing

hk20000 06-03-2010 06:44 PM

more like the cash incentive is to make you buy with cash

mpr 06-03-2010 06:47 PM

thanks. my mind just flashed another project car. 3.8L turbo 500 hp drift car.

yea i guess, but how many ppl have $21,000 lying around to spend on a car all at once? (with a normal salary per year and other expenses to pay)

If you do a partial trade in with a similar car that's 2 - 3 years old you probably have about 10k in difference....then it's ok reasonable.:)

shenmecar 06-03-2010 08:56 PM

clearance pricing ftw

get a car loan from your bank..

interest rate would be pretty high but still pretty good deal at 21g

if you did that, after paying off the bank loan, might as well just lease or finance from hyundai? be almost the same at the end

do you mean "tempting" ?

RabidRat 06-04-2010 01:02 AM

holy shit that's a crazy deal!

Sp0r3 06-04-2010 01:57 AM

Hope a similar deal will be available 11 months from now when my current lease is over...

The only bad thing about the Genesis Coupe is their transmission problems with the 6 speed manual. The grinding gears and rev hang issues have caused many of their owners opt for the v6 with the ZF automatics instead.

21k for FT86 was bs all along...21 GBP if we are lucky...i cant see it selling less than 36k

TheSalesman 06-04-2010 12:33 PM

Let me know if you guys want a genesis! We got a few sitting on the lot that needs drivers!

gilly 06-04-2010 01:14 PM

sucks how its cash purchase only. Would definitely seriously consider to buy if its finance.

Not as bad as you would think.

You would be surprised at how many people CAN and DO pay for their car in full.

TOS'd 06-04-2010 06:40 PM

^ is that a bad thing?

VK79 06-05-2010 08:58 AM

^ nope, its good actually. Don't really like the idea of loans unless it can't be helped (apartment, 0% financing, lease to write off profits etc..).
