i agree... vegas water tastes awful. i actually bring tap water from here so i don't have to buy so much bottled there. vegas water tastes like dirt. |

there was a study done where some cheap asses re-uses the same water bottle when the water bottle are more for 1 time use (nestea, kirkland) and in turn builds up bacterias. there are other ones but it's more related to the plastic materials used for the bottles. i'll try to find the articles. |
We used to use Brita Water Filter, where you just fill the top up with water, and over time it'll filter the water, and move it to the bottom on the jug. But imo it tasted pretty much the same as tap water, just maybe a bit sweeter. I think it's just a psychological thing, thinking that your water's cleaner. I recently bought for my family an Espring Water Filter, and honestly love it. Definitely taste a significant difference from Brita. |
how much was it? |

boil the water and pour it into a huge glass container to let it cool. |
personally I prefer the taste of tap water versus having it boiled. I just have this dislike for the taste of boiled water, but that's just me. |
i bought 24x591ml Aquafina from T&T Ottawa couple of weeks ago for only $6.29. it was on sale. i have only been drinking bottled water since i got here in May... i tried that britta filter and it makes no difference. i even tried the big gallon dispencer thing in the office, it still gives an after taste. so i have been buying Aquafina or Dasani... it's hard to find a good deal though, at least there's 0% tax and $0 deposit fees in Ontario/Quebec for bottled water. |
for anyone who doesn't like tap water... do you drink COLD COLD tap water? i find that if it's not super cold, it doesn't taste as good. |
^pretty much. ice cold water all tastes the same. when its room temp, i can easily tell the taste difference. |

it tasted like the water that we had when we had the ground collapsed at our water reservoir. but it wasn't too bad as long as I used cold water to brush my teeth. |
