going with wider lips.

Hey guys,

I want to buy these 3 peice rims that at 8" wide.

I would like to make them wider, like 9.5" the offset would remain the same.

would wider outter lips make the rims weaker?
Should i be affraid of anything bending?

TIA.

Why not just buy 9.5's to begin with?

I want to, but i cant find a set. i been looking for a used set for 5 months.

People either want to much. of the offset is to high.

I'd say just keep your eye open. Dont settle for the 8" wide wheels if you want the 9.5's

I called kodiak, they dont make aftermarket lips anymore.

Does anyone else know of places that can make some?

If not, then ill just wait longer to find the width i want.
