FS: 2006+ G35 Coupe Projector Headlights These are post-recall headlights meaning they wont light your car on fire nor will they blind oncoming traffic. Used them for about 2 months before pulling them off and selling the car with the stock 2003 headlights. These are a direct plug and play using your stock ballasts for the 2003-2005 coupes. They have been 3M'd and are in brand new condition in box. Dealerships sell these for $1300 a side... I'm asking $850obo for the pair. http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...e/IMG00134.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...5%20Sale/7.jpg Being the ricer that I am, I have replaced the stock amber bulbs with chromed amber bulbs... note the difference in the picture. **NOTE** Item is located in Edmonton, AB QPDO |

I don't like misinformation being posted in sale threads, so at the risk of getting an infraction I will mention a few things to protect potential buyer. The recalled lights never had any safety issues like you're trying to state when saying they'll set fire to your car, the only reason they were recalled is because the drivers side projector lens was pointed slightly higher than it should have been. It's a simple 2 minute fix with a screwdriver. and yea Infiniti dealerships actually are selling these for roughly $600 per PAIR BRAND NEW, not $2600 like you said. here's a link to a reputable Infiniti Dealership that is popular and trusted on the G35 forum sellin them for $560 BRAND NEW not including shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-G...ts=Model%3AG35 |
After my accident which wrote off my pre-recalled lights I went to Ericksen Infiniti here in Edmonton to have my headlights replaced. The quote my repair shop and I got were $1385/assembly. Knowing what you know, I purchased those exact lights from Riverside Infinity. That said, when they came in after shipping, duty, currency conversion, 3M and all the bullshit I paid just over $900 for them. I used them for a month before I sold the car and purchased an NSX. I am merely trying to recoup some funds. Now let me sell my lights. QPDO |
sell your lights by all means bro, just don't bullshit like you did in the original post, nobody here on the forum will stand for that. so you already knew Riverside is selling them for cheaper brand new than you are selling them used, yet you still posted that they go for $2600 per pair trying to pass it off as if you paid that much for them. And I personally don't give a fuck if you paid $900 after all the "extras" because some of our local guys have bought the same set from Riverside brand new for $600 shipped, and yours are used sittin at $650, so that's misleading the buyer into the worth of the light. And there's a fine line between asking a bit too much for an item, and blatantly lying so you could sell for higher profit, and you've crossed that line. You wanna sell your lights, I'll just tell you to quit bullshitting but I won't tell you to lower the price because I'm pretty sure that's against the rules here. good luck with the sale, and congrats on the newly purchased NSX, though I have no idea what you mentioning that you bought an NSX has anything to do with the current discussion, don't think it achieved much more than makin you look like a douchebag showoff. anyway I've made my case and alerted potential buyers to the reality of the false safety concerns you listed, my job is done I'm exiting the thread. Sorry mods, I just saw some misinformation I thought needed to be corrected for the safety of the buyer, that is all. |
