do i have spyware?? im using windows 7 and the latest firefox and recently ive noticed webpages loading up slower than usual or sometimes the page load half way then stops loading, and when i look to the bottom left area to see what's currently being loaded, it's either "google-analytics.com" or "pageread2.googlesyndication.com". Also sometimes firefox randomly opens up a new www.google.com tab in the background when i click links on websites, wtf?? My homepage isnt set to google either... edit: just scanned with latest malwarebytes and it says nothings infected |
Doesn't sound like it, based on the information above. Many website use Google Analytics to get information about the visitors to their site. They embed code that makes calls to Google's servers. |
my webpages stop loading sometimes and the status bar shows it's waiting for google-analytics.com |
run spybot search and destroy, I find it picks up more than malwarebytes |
