Seeing the pictures makes me feel a lot better.

At least we lost to the eventual winner AND to a team which has a real fanbase. A real franchise with lots of fans that love the team.

If we lost to, say, Phoenix and then have them win the cup I'd still be facepalming when their 2000 fans come out to celebrate.

If Calgary made the playoffs, and met Chicago, the Flames would get destroyed. Even if CGY spotted them a 5-goal lead, they'd still manage to lose.
