you guys keep saying merc is for older guy, like at younger age anyone can afford exotics. yeah if they can, SLS wouldnt be their first choice for obvious reasons. Lambos have been famous for being flashy, hence they get more attention amongst younger people.

on a side note, R8s are not really fast cars for their price.

With Lux tax still under $280k. Not sure where you getting 300k from. Dad was toying with the idea of a 2dr Benz so I was doing research for him.

I'm sure these cars will have a premium slapped on the msrp so it could be nearing $300,000 which imo is way too much for this car.

it's just the market. the R8 4.2 was going for +200K when it came out, and it was still slower than a 100K Carrera S or Carrera 4S.

Most Audi's are overpriced when it comes to performance, prefect example is the A5/S5. You're really paying for the styling, overall quality and exclusivity.

if it comes down strictly to speed you can just pick up a r35 gtr, supra, ford gt, etc and put 50k+ or so in them and make them veyron killers... and end up paying a lot less compared to most exotics.

My cousins friend is 18, works at Mc D's and his parents just got him a brand new white R8. I wonder if it's the same car been spotted with the N.

Why would they have trouble getting out of an SLS?


If the doors are hinged similar to, or better than a car from 1982, i don't think they'll have any issues.

^ that actually seems like it would be easier to get in and out of in tight spaces than regular door hinges
