I just read that they are having this for PC too. Gamespot had this listed on PS3, 360 and PC

Oops sorry my bad I misunderstood what you said. I thought you were saying Metal Gear in general used to be Xbox exclusive.

This game looks EPIC. Probably first day buy for me. Cutting watermelons and cutting a guy in half in slo-mo is badass.

after being MIA for a good year and no showing at E3, my feeling was right that Hideo Kojima cancelled the original game

i dont know if i can agree with the gameplay mechanic though, like how it takes several strikes for Raiden before he can slice them unlike the original demo game where he just slaying them.. this looks more intune to Platinum's Bayonnetta now..

the game takes place after MGS4 now as oppose to take place before..

I agree, for a sword so powerful, it doesn't make sense that he has to slice some jabroni soldiers 5 times before killing them.

True, but if it only takes him a single strike to kill most of the enemies in the game then that would be kind of pointless too? Anyway, I'm not too sure I'm liking what I'm seeing to be honest. Will it probably be fun and cool? Sure, but I'm just not too sure about it. Maybe I'm attaching it too the other Metal Gear games and where I'm used to Snake and all the stealth stuff and have to come to grips that this game while still under the Metal Gear name is not snake and not the same game.

well metal gear solid 2 wasn't snake, it was also jack so it's not like the story hasn't gone that way before.

But I agree with the hack and slash deal. I've been rocking this series since metal gear on nes and really liked the gameplay. But I also can't say this looks or seems terrible until I play it. They haven't let me down before so I'm sure it'll still be awesome.

i think they should have called it something else... Metal Gear series was about being stealthy... not hacking, slashing and cutting up everything you see on screen.. lol..
