Daniel, ONE point behind Stamkos!!

MG1 02-04-2011 09:39 PM

Now THAT, my friends, was an awesome game!

Luigi definitely earned his pay tonight. A couple of weird goals, but the post and a few lucky moments saved the day. Shook the monkey off his back. The team came through with some pretty good goals. Solid ones as opposed to the fluke goals by the black cocks.

Soundy 02-04-2011 09:39 PM

Damn, Danny's goal was SICK, that's gotta be a play of the week!

Soundy 02-04-2011 09:40 PM

SO who were the three stars? 42-save performance should earn second star at least!

MG1 02-04-2011 09:43 PM

Thank you, Gillis. Thank you, AV.

Team is awesome. Awesome goalie tandem, lots of offensive talent, lots of young talent. First in NHL at this point in the season. Damn, I hope this is the year we go all the way. Cautious optimism.

Looks like Ehrhoff's goal was JUST offside...

This is how the Flames and Hawks fans saw it...

What a big win.

Mizter 02-04-2011 10:05 PM

Very entertaining game tonight. Even better that we got the win!

cliffhanger33 02-04-2011 10:07 PM

WOOO canucks made me proud today

Sentinel 02-04-2011 10:10 PM

Daniel is now #1 in points, Henrik is back by 4 points. Wonder if Henrik can catch up and win the Art Ross back to back?

punkwax 02-04-2011 10:22 PM

Best game of the season.

the suprising thing about the Art Ross race is that Crosby is still only 3 points back and he's been out for almost a month

jing 02-04-2011 10:31 PM

Pretty sure I just spotted Luongo drive past me in Yaletown lol

it's a shame really, crosby would have been "uncatchable" if he wasn't out with this concussion.

injuries are part of the game. theres no excuses.keeping fit and healthy is also a part of being an MVP. sedins do alot of work with thier strength and condition off the ice

BLUETIGER 02-04-2011 11:11 PM

headshots are part of the game?
how do you stay healthy after getting hit in the head blindside and suffering a concussion?

Oleophobic 02-04-2011 11:21 PM

Fuck yeah first canucks game I went to where they won! 1 for 3 for me wooooooooh!

BLUETIGER hits the spot here. Many players have had their career's laid to rest due to headshots. Lindros was never hte same after he got knocked the fuck out and the guy's pretty damn ripped, not to say the guy was huge as well. Same thing in the NFL, headshots kill careers.
