Double din head unit (GPS&DVD), with external screen? any?
 

Alright, so i got a is300, and i got the motorized screen unit sitting in my room. Basically i'm looking for a double din head unit to go in place of my current factory deck that's a piece of shit, and then put the actual touchscreen in the motorized screen that's on the top of the dash. Hopefully the headunit has DVD playing function, GPS, USB...etc the whole 9 yard.

I'm not much of an audio guy, but i've tried my fair share of search and it seems like everything i can find is either double din with a screen already, or else single din folding screen. Anyone know of anything?

Cheap, pricey, not a big deal unless we're talking about top of the line stuff.


i'm thinking as a last resort, is to just run a carputer, and use the space of the double din to put the computer, keyboard\mouse, and usb inputs.

p.s. i REALLY DON'T want to run 2 screens. It's kind of....pointless

OrgasmDonor has tow screens in his car. The lower one is a double din deck that does everything, including nav. The top screen gives him the option of rear view, nav or movie. The extra option is awesome!

been...playing with roadsters, so i never need any of the cosmetic stuff, just driving performance fun stuff. haha
