Baby beluga whale Nala dies at Vancouver Aquarium
 

Some of you might remember this:

Well, people have been throwing rocks and pennies in the water, clogging her larynx (voicebox) which caused inflammation and breathing difficulties for the beluga calf.

Nala eventually died on Monday, June 21, 2010

Not really telling the fully story there. They aren't say that human's played a role in this exclusively. Plus she had a pocket under her larynx which they don't yet know how it occurred.

"The stones may have been dropped in the pool by birds and it's not uncommon for the whales to play with them before they end up in their stomachs, Haulena said."
