Canon 18-55mm IS vs DC lenses?

What is the difference between the Canon 18-55mm IS lens and the Canon 18-55mm DC lens?

Which one is better?

Thanks

If you're referring to the two kits on sale at different venues (Canon XS Kit with 18-55 IS lens at Bestbuy vs Canon XS Kit with 18-55 DC lens at Walmart) the IS is the better option. The DC has no image stabilization, the IS stands for Image Stabilization. Stabilization aside, the IS version is apparently more sharp, optically.

Adding to what Alatar said, it's easy to differentiate between the 2 lenses physically.
