Cell phones for senior citizens

Hi I'm looking for one of those super simple and easy to use cell phones for my grandma who is 79 years old, doesn't speak english, and is technologically challenged.

I know the states have this phone called the Jitterbug which is specifically designed for those people in mind but I can't seem to find anything like that here in Canada.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

There are cell phones for kids, that only have I believe 3 programmable numbers on it, and 911 as the 4th. Only has four buttons. Could try that, might be shaped like an alien though.

ya i thought bout that before but she needs one that can actually dial.

thanks for the suggestion tho

buy her a startec or some sort of flip phone... open lid , dial , close lid to end conversation ...

if u buy her a bar phone she will need to press extra buttons.

Ya that was what I thought but my uncle already signed her up with Wind and got her the cheapest phone which was this tiny bar hone with tiny numbers and screen.

I could swap phones but wind has a tiny ass selection of phones and NONE of the are flip.

^ wind is no contract right?

walk away , you might as well look into pre-paid.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I think I'm gonna stay away from bar phones as it's nearly impossible teaching her how to lock/unlock phones.

My friend is going to give me his old Nokia flip phone that looks basic enough.

Thanks for the help guys!
