I have to say that the photoshoot was planned to have massive post processing even before we attempted in shooting it. I'm aiming towards magazines and adverting material here and i dare to say that post processing and editing is just as important in being a successful photographer especially when it comes to commercial photography.

Am I a good photographer or am I just covering everything up with Photoshop? That's for you to decide and I really don't care what people thinks. My photos appeal to a certain group of people and all others can hate it and that's fine with me as well.

I get what you're saying, 99% of stuff out there is postprocessed glory, otherwise any kid with a high-res sensor can scale shit down, and it looks beautiful.

i think the green glow's there to emphasize the green accent on the car. Like in the bumpers and the roll bar.

JiggaZed 07-04-2010 05:42 AM

Just looks like it's animated...gay...went too far with the photoshop IMO.

Beilei 07-04-2010 07:43 AM

Nothing in print is ever untouched by Photoshop (or any other post-processing process).

Even the simple act of developing a photograph from film will be considered post-processing.

I guess it adds a bit of flare to the image, the photographer made it look like it was coming out of the ventilation ducts in the ceiling

StealthFighter 07-05-2010 12:26 AM

trollguy 07-05-2010 05:33 AM

thread jack! lol.

Mananetwork 07-05-2010 10:58 AM

Matt takes some really great shots and you can tell by his lighting (especially on a black car). I'm just not feeling the green, IMO it takes away from the image.

without green, way better!

I think the images are amazing and I honestly don't care how it got to be the way it is. It just is.
