I went to TaBom a couple months ago.
The food was pretty good but as G mentioned it is a bit expensive for what you get. The cheese meat plate is like $14 but you have to order minimum of 2 so it's actually $28 for small'ish plate of chicken + $5 for cheese. It's also really far lol.

A random and weird thing that caught my attention when I went... the place was, literally 120% filled with mainland China diners. Not even exaggerating lol... because I had to wait in line for about 30min. Standing near the middle of the restaurant, all you could hear was mandarin. There were 2 tables we thought we Korean girls, turned out they spoke mandarin too. Every single person in line was also speaking Chinese. Felt really strange. Right outside the restaurant were parked 2 Maserati's and BMW i8 with N signs.

Still owe you McDonalds...

OT - In the blue moon that we go KBBQ, family ends up going to Insadong. Seems alright to me.

Ta Bom is da bomb for Korean BBQ. It's an expensive "bom" though. :troll:

That Dak galbi, corn/cheese hot plate with the spicy chicken is good. Extra 5 dollars for cheese? :rukidding:
