^ its possible.. i guess also depends on the profile of the tire. I seen it on Hellaflush, a VW had 195's on a 9 wide wheel.

I think I've seen a couple 17x9 setups on 8th gen civics before, if I remember correctly it looked pretty nice and flush with a little poke!
