	   | Do springs ever fail?

I've got factory lowering springs on my IS300, they've got 155k kms on them as of now. I recently got new struts installed and noticed that one corner is sagging lower than the other side by 1 finger gap. Could it be my springs? I thought springs don't usually go bad.

Yes, springs fail. Sometimes catastrophically. Luckily that coil broke off when I was backing out of the driveway and not bombing down the highway.

I've had brand new spring fail. I installed a lift onto a newer Jeep Liberty a few months back and in two hours of driving a two inch lift turned into a two inch drop.
