I'm a noob with these camera filters such as UV, polarizing and what ever else is out there. I'm more of night shooting photographer. Landscapes and what not. I'm wondering whats a good camera filter for nightshooting? | if you mainly shoot at night, then really you don't need anything. uv for protection if that tickles your fancy.
a circular polarizer is a must have imo but since you say you shoot mainly at night, it'd be essentially useless to you and they're quite expensive. however if you shoot landscapes in bright daylight, a cpl is great to have. ND grad filters are also useful for bright landscapes, but i'd pick up a cpl before a ND.
in case you're interested, try maxsaver.net. very well known accessories place who sell legitimate filters at crazy good prices. |
