Learner

a friend recently got a ticket at a roadblock for no L and 2 driving under restriction penalties. so we're wondering if the ticket record cancels if shes getting her N within the month that she has to pay.

no. she has to pay either way or dispute.... it wont come off record

If your friend has the road test within 30 days, I think she can still take it, but has to pay for the ticket after.
If the road test is after the 30 days, the best bet is to dispute the ticket so she doesn't have to redo the L stage I think.
The ticket record doesn't cancel either way lol. If it did, ICBC will be on a whole new level of noob.

Either way, she will get prohibited from driving whether she's in the N or L stage of Class 7.

This is true but if she get's her N she will be suspended for 3 months but still has her N but if she gets suspended under L she has to re-do the whole year so she has not much to lose if she passes.

Her best bet is to dispute the ticket and get her N then go to icbc and just pay for the tickets.

Because if she gets her N and drives on it till the court date comes which is at least 12 months later and she loses in court and gets suspended she will have to redo her N for another 2 years so she will waste 9-12 months

Good Luck
