Aircare without insurance? Will aircare allow an uninsured car to be tested at their facilities? Posted via RS Mobile |
No, you need at least a temporary permit. |
how will you get the car to aircare it without insurance? are you gona tow it there? |
day passes. |
as long as u got a day pass its good to go reminds me of the time i got pulled in my old prelude because the cop couldn't see my license plates the guy almost popped a vein until he saw that I had temp insurance. |
$27 for 1 day pass (only 1 million TPL; and no coll/comp) |
I think its $32 for day pass with higher TPL and coll/comp... so just pay the extra 5 haha |
The Price for a temprorary permit is $27 for only one million third part liability, or $34 if you want to add $300 collision and comprehensive coverages (prices went up in 2009). I have had many clients go to the air care facility with expired insuance, thats at your own risk of getting caught. If you fail aircare you are allowed to get 3 months insurance once in the lifetime of the vehicle. Hope that answers your questions |
Unless you own a car trailer or your own tow truck I would think it to be cheaper to put a day pass on it. |
you can use a mechanic's plate ... thats how i got my 240SX to air care center |
