^ yeah.. so hot in my room.. can't sleep

!LittleDragon 07-08-2010 11:05 PM

Been in Vegas when it was 50+, Orlando at 45, etc... this isn't hot but I prefer fall/winter. REAL fall/winter not the 10 months of rain we have here...

in case some of you want to know what this looks like (note that it's no longer a bucket, as my ice from my freezer is now ready. I found that this works much better - I have my room door shut, windows shut, and in my light t-shirt and shorts, it's great in my room compared to the rest of the 2nd floor in my house

Other than the public library in downtown, can anyone suggest any other fully air conditioned libraries with areas to study? Thanks!

I wear lightweight cotton, short-sleeves, linen, light colours and I'm still drenched in sweat by the time I step into the office. My commute consists of Skytrain and a bit of walking.

I like to run, but it's simply too hot to do so. I put some stress on my system on Wednesday by going for a run along the Coal Harbour seawall and into Stanley Park at high noon. My sleeveless top was of course drenched by about 4K, so I just simply ran with my shirt off the last leg. It was liberating, though I must admit I was a little self-conscious as I have don't have a lean runner's physique.

twitchyzero 07-09-2010 12:49 AM

so some of you guys prefer crippled transit & people sliding into you with summer tires than a hot sunny day with no traffic concerns?

Harvey Specter 07-09-2010 12:52 AM

I have crazy bags under my eyes because I haven't slept properly in this heat for the last couple of days. I might have to use the AC in my room tonight but AC makes my head hurt and I feel like shit when I get up. Oh the joys of summer.

vash13 07-09-2010 01:00 AM

^^ so you get double fisted either way =(

Razor Ramon HG 07-09-2010 01:23 AM

It's warm, but it's honestly not that bad. Build some resistance!

ak6 07-09-2010 01:30 AM

Can't complain about the heat. Enjoy it while it lasts as ppl said.
Gotta love 'em short shorts on girls :D

HonestTea 07-09-2010 02:48 AM

These are extremes.

24-25 C with humidity under 60% is ideal. The women will still wear skimpy clothing once the sun comes out, no matter what the temperature.

SkinnyPupp 07-09-2010 06:02 AM

Vancouver gets good weather 2 months out of 10, and all people do is complain about it :(

7seven 07-09-2010 06:04 AM

I love this weather, I just sat at Joeys for 7 hours yesterday on their patio drinking slushy gin and vodka drinks enjoying the view of hot girls in mini skirts and booty shorts.

1BADMR2 07-09-2010 06:38 AM

This weather is awesome. Sat on the grass part of White Rock beach and i was the resident perv. Camel toe was evident on 4/10 bikinis and tight tops make me smile. I am going to Spanish Banks to see the ratio of camel toes this weekend.

It's about that in the valley. Wendnesday, it was about 36 in Abbotsford.

It's gonna cool down in the next few days, with still only one day of maybe rain then dry for the next two weeks.

Greenstoner 07-09-2010 07:19 AM

good things about summer is
1) hotter girls
2) eaiser to wake up

other than that, the heat sucks

I too, prefer cold over hot. If hot chicks were around all day, it would be a nice distraction, but at home that just isn't the case.

Instead, I have a sweaty 2-yr old who just wants to be carried!

7seven 07-09-2010 08:35 AM

All I know is that I'm looking forward to wardrobe fittings for Hellcats later today, watching a bunch of girls trying on skimpy outfits and cheerleading uniforms in the heat getting all sweaty lol.

Give me a shout. I am very good a wiping perspiration off of women. I have such a trusting face that women don't mind me slowly going up and down their inner thighs with a hand towel.

Oh, I do massages, too and my rates are very reasonable.

That would be me.

Not only can it be hot but it gets really dusty where I work - to the point of zero vision. But whatever, it is what it is, right? If it were raining, I'd be working in soupy mud. There's always something to complain about so why stress over it?

I just shower in the morning to wake up, after work to clean up and before bed to get to sleep.

All worth it when my friends and I can hit a patio and get wasted while checking out hot women.

The only bad side to lots of sun is farmer/sunglass tans and if that's the only downside, bring on the sun.

tacobell 07-09-2010 09:07 AM

i'm gonna say it, the ones to complain about this sunny hot weather don't deserve to live in this beautiful city.

you can stay in your air conditioned room playing wow, just don't come on here complaining it's too hot to do anything. I on the other hand will take this sun, scandalous women, bbq's, beaches, lakes, trails, patios, festivals, summer cruises and make up for the lost time.
