Where can I go Kayaking? Never gone before...

Where can I go Kayaking?
I never gone before, so I plan to rent kayaks and what ever else is required.
Anyone know of good places, and estimated cost?

You could also go for Deer Lake, which is decently fun except the water gets pretty gross

take some leasons... or go with someone who knows what they are doing. if you flip the kayak and get stuck / can't get out you will drown... and if you do get out, you probbaly won't be able to get back in unless you know how.

If you don't know how to flip back around; once your kayak flips, get out, flip over the kayak and swim around to the back of it. Pull yourself up while paddling and straddle it from behind. Pull yourself back into the seat. Make sure you got something to scoop the water out and you're good to go. Don't worry though it's not easy to flip over.

u guys dont want to kayak near fales creek, granville island. water is disgusting, thanks to all the boats that are illegally parked in fales creek, they just dump thr crap there. if u want good exp, clean water that u can take i dive in, go to bowen. island or deep cove.

outrigger is good, but not as much fun as a kayak, and its not for everybody.

When I went, it was all young guys working outside, and older women running the inside. Oh unless you like those shirtless young guys...
