^Boost sales of an aging model. Then next year, BAM, re-designed 1-series Posted via RS Mobile |
Chassis parts are almost all taken directly from the current M3, apparently. Designed in mind to rival the E46 M3 as a baseline for performance, with the minimalism of the original E30/E36 M3's (i.e. comes in 6-spd only) BMW M3 (E92, coupe, 6-speed manual) - 414 HP @ 8,300 RPM - 295 LB-FT @ 3,900 RPM (that's torque, in case you still don't "give a fuck") - Weight: 3,704 lbs. - 0-60 in 4.4 seconds BMW 135i (N54 engine, 6-speed manual) - 300 HP @ 5,800 RPM - 300 LB-FT @ 1,400 RPM  - Weight: 3,372 lbs. - 0-60 in 4.7 seconds |
BMW could very well be losin it. At least in terms of what the M-sport designation should stand for. In conjunction with a new CEO, it is rumored the new M5 will also be turbo- charged. I would agree that it should represent high revving, lightweight engines. All in all, thank goodness this aint no M1. Crossing fingers for what the new civic after 6 years(!) might look like.. |
@Maxx Ok, you might have me on your fail just as it looks like the 1-series M has not depreciated, if at all. Can you elaborate on why you failed me? |
It's been 4 years and you're still bothered by 1 fail? Damn son. |
