I'm a little sad that they offed Unser and Juice, though the latter was clearly seen a mile away. Unser, though... for one of the moral pillars of the last couple seasons, I think he deserved a better death/ending instead of being gunned down in the middle of the house. Kinda curious what Nero has planned, though my guess is that he has some sort of idea of trying to take Samcro.

And here I thought early on that Gemma would be the last person standing; left alive to feel the impact that she caused with her lies. Guess that's out now :P

I wouldn't be surprised if the other charter presidents voted Redwood out of the SoA family due to Jax's actions. Redwood's reaction to that will be the series ender. That's my early call.

Wasn't that the whole point of the meeting between Presidents at Red Woody, as well as Jax's "final" request? The other presidents said that they would honour Jax's request at the expense of their mayhem vote.

Before he killed Gemma he asked her about another copy of his dads transcripts and Gemma said yes they are in the spot, I have a feeling that will play a big roll in whats going to happen. Give the copy to Nero and if the club kills him have Nero give it to the cops? All I know is I have a feeling that will play a huge roll and a lot of people missed it

From the reaction and body language of not just Jax but the members he met with leaving the meeting it seemed to me that Jax had agreed to be executed for his crime but he wanted some time to tie up loose ends.

Did anyone think the request had to do with allowing the Grim Bastards to be brought in as members of the Sons.

I didn't think Grim Bastards, but I definitely thought of the race bylaw when he mentioned "bylaw". Now that you mention GB and how everyone was leaving their MC, that would be an excellent prediction.

at first I was like that as well but I'm actually happy the way it ended.. He took care of all of the people that was making the clubs life hell and most importantly he saved Wendy and the kids and he was finally at peace which is what he was looking for all along

I think its his guardian angel that's why you see the bread when he finally confronted her and at the end as well.

So the woman is suppose to be brooke (rat's gf) mom. Took a few notes of reddit which I think sums it up pretty good.

a)I believe its a reference to the Last Supper. When the homeless woman gave him the blanket, the camera panned onto a bottle, which looked like it contained blood, along with bread. These two items are given to his (Jesus) disciples when he knows what Judas had done to him, along with his likely end.

Then, in the end, we see the crows eating the bread, and Jax's blood come onto the screen. This being after his sacrifice to remove the "original sin" from his sons, who had he stayed alive, would have continued into the club life.

b)She's the Reaper, appearing in the form of Brooke's dead mother. She's always around when someone dies, from Donna, to Gemma, to Jax himself.

The bread and wine was obvious. But in the VERY next scene. Jax looks an AWFUL lot like the SOA Grim Reaper logo when he kills August Marks at the courthouse.

3) Emily Putner appears several times in Sons of Anarchy. Always when Gemma or Jax are going through an emotional decision making process. In the episode 'John 8:32' it was stated that she is Emily Putner, the mother of Brooke Putner. Emily was accidentally killed as a result of John Teller's collision with a semi-truck and trailer in 1993. In the same episode, when Jax goes to talk to Gary Putner about his daughter's aggressive behavior, he sees a wedding photo of Emily with Gary. When Gary asks Jax why he's curious about it, he states that "She looks familiar". Gary then says that he has also often seen her. He also tells Jax that he has had other people come to him saying that they have seen her too.

I understand the whole sacrifice thing I guess, but I feel like the cops should have done him in. I know this way, hitting the truck he dies and the bike is destroyed too, thus ending the Teller reign.

It might seem trivial but...what about the truck driver (aka the Commish)? He would be scarred for life having killed a man with his truck. If Jax was really trying to patch things up he wouldn't hurt one more person before he went. I know this seems less important but in real life that would fuck someone up.

If I directed that last scene, it would go like this: He drives off on the bike, with all the cops in tow. He rides until the bike runs out of gas, thus symbolizing the end of his journey. He drifts to a stop, and turns perpendicular to the cops on the road, as the cops spill out of their cars, guns drawn, demanding he puts his hands up. He looks up to the sky one last time and closes his eyes, and pulls his gun and fires in the air. Cops see this as aggressive and unload on him, dropping him dead, and possibly hitting the tank of the bike a igniting what's left inside, setting fire or blowing up Jax's already shot up body. And this way, the cops get their win by sending a message to the club, and finally having a well publicized victory.

And one more thing: I was seriously disappointed at the shitty CG crows flying, trickling blood, shitty greenscreen/ CG Jax heading towards the truck, and something that looked like CG bread on CG asphalt, as the last shot of the entire series. So disappointing.

I disagree - the fact that he chose to ride into the truck better shows that he was in control of his fate. Taken down by a truck sounds a lot more respectful and "biker" than gunned down by police. Theres no real "good" end to this.

I've been watching it for the last few seasons just because I knew the end was near. Pretty much anything after season 5 (and excluding Ireland because what a hot mess) sucked imo. The thing I'm taking away from the series was the shitty CG sequence at the end. Totally agree with you that it was just garbage.
