new ebc brake pads

hi, i recently installed new ebc green stuff brake pads on my 07 civic sedan front brakes
it says on the instruction sheet that it is normal to make noise on the first few hundred kms
but its been 3 days now since i installed them and they are still making a squealing noise

so now i am wonder would it be that i didnt put enough grease on the pads or is it the rotor thats having the issue?
i've read that if its making a grinding sound it would be the rotors, i had that noise too but now its gone, only squealing noise is left

any suggestions on how i can fix this myself without bringing it to a shop?

you drive more than 100kms per day?

first few hundred is what you said...

so give it a week or 2, if it still squeals, then look at getting some brake quiet grease for the back of the pads.

give it at least a week.

even after that brake pads will sometimes squeak or squeal during normal usage.

I would stick with OEM brake pads. Often I find aftermarket brake pad materials too hard and leaves the rotors with a polished glazed finish.

thanks for the advice guys
i'll see if it still makes noise after a week, if so i'll add some grease on it see if it works
wat are the grease called?

Lordco carries this...use it everytime you install new pads. spread it on the back of the pads and let it set for 10mins
