WTB: bumper/grille mesh Looking for a small amount of thin metal mesh. Maybe someone has some scrap piece laying around..? Or least could tell me which stores have a good selection. Something like would be perfect: http://img.diytrade.com/cdimg/633135...mesh_PM-05.jpg |
pontiacs use honey comb grills maybe go to junk yards and find a decent one?....but i dont know if its going to be metal. pontiac=plastic |
Thanks, doesn't have to be honeycomb though.. any flat type mesh with small holes will work, as long as it's metal. I'm going to need to bend it around a form so plastic won't work. |

rocketz has chicken wire, and overseas auto doesn't even have a proper website which sucks OP i told you in chat Metal Mart Langley has this, it's called Perforated Steel, http://www.metalmart.ca/contactus.htmlI am going to go check it out this week... I had a thread about it not too long ago http://www.revscene.net/forums/hexag...h-t614242.html the hardware store mesh is similar, but when you really closely look at it it looks like shit compared to the real thing. hardware store stuff http://www.customcargrills.com/prodi..._Hex_Small.jpg the real thing http://www.techelpdesk.com/honeycombmesh.png installed in bumper http://www.techelpdesk.com/wekfest.jpg http://www.techelpdesk.com/blossomfest2.jpg |
