Can anyone verify this B+W filter authenticity? I'm looking to buy a filter from online, and this is what the seller has sent to me (the images) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...SC1311_720.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...SC1321_720.jpg What I find it funny is that it says "77.0" rather than the usual 77 on other B+W filters. These were the only full-sized resolution images he has sent to me. Let me know! it would be awesome if I got some feedback from you guys. Thanks, N |
May I suggest going to a store, like Kerrisdale Camera's and looking at it? I'm sure they can give you feedback as well. |
Hmmmm...can't really tell from the images, but you're right - the "77.0" is something I've never seen/noticed before, and I've been selling B+W for the past 2 years. |
Is that an XS-PRO filter, or just a normal 007? I just checked maxsaver, which I believe are real, and their image of an XS-PRO in a 72mm shows 72,0. The front face labeling is correct for a B+W filter though. |
Thanks guys! I got the 77mm filter and it works great! the quality of the filter is top-notch and i'm really happy with it :) |
when you take the filter, and place it under direct light, can you see a purple or greenish tinge to it? That is supposed to be the MRC. |
hmmm now you got me looking at my b+w filter too. my 77mm UV MRC just says 77. looks exactly like this one http://www.the-digital-picture.com/R...UV-Filter.aspx |
you might have the normal MRC filter, while Nintensity has the slim XS-Pro filter with the different labeling. |
Yeah, its the XS-Pro Filter. I'm really happy with it! |
