2 and 3 in the first post was even better when the olympic rings were around. but then you wouldn't have been able to get shots with all the people around. |
i remember toyota supra use to be the ultimate asian car.... ull see pictures of a supra and some sorta motorcycle on every punk ass asians pages on asianavenue :lol |
I'm assuming this car isn't a TT since OP never replied back. The car looks great in the pictures because they've been shopped. I remember the for sale thread where the pictures were just normal standard pictures and the car looked like a normal car. The seller should invest in a single turbo kit and build it and I bet you big bucks that he'll be able to sell it since turbo supra's are a high commodity these days. Not only are they the best cars from Japan next to GTR but they are fast as hell |
wat......... so let's say I was selling the car for 10k I spend 10k to build the car I'll only be able to sell it for 15k MAX... (no one is going to pay 20k+ for a RHD single turbo, stock TT's cost more) good investment.......... people build cars for their own pleasure not to make money, they lose money. |
No supra's are rare and usually get top dollar so you could sell it for more than typical used cars. Turbo's aren't that expensive and if you know anything about cars its not hard to install one which will save you labors costs. And say if you couldn't sell it which I doubt you would have a problem with then you could always look into LHD conversion. By the way, I didn't know your car was RHD. |
Uh no. a clean decent mileage/good mileage supra (TT 6-speed) are going between on average 35k to 50k these days, LHD mostly in the US. For example I've seen high HP Supra's (500 - 1000HP) single turbo street legal with average miles going between 25-50k... which were once originally NA. And to build a car like that you'll be spending 50k at the least. I know the market for my own car... No one would spend roughly 10k just to make their car turbo'd so it will attract more buyers. And yeah it would easily be 10k because the transmission and the list goes on that would need to be replaced. It doesn't work the way you think it will. That's why you see people selling highly modded civic's still for like 20k and it will never sell. end of what I have to say, this thead was just about sharing the location with pic examples / |

want to have an early morning photoshoot and meet anyone? i can park my stock TL next to the supra and then rage when people comment that my car doesn't fit the picture Posted via RS Mobile |
Awesome pictures 1exotic! Especially like the desaturated forest one. |
whats the spec on n/a supras? im guessing they are pretty slow? 200hp n/a that weighs around 1450-1500kg? |
Quote:
NA 5-speed just around 225hp I believe, weight could be around 3100-3200kg since its non aspirated turbo charged etc. But it varies since J-spec has weird compression ratio and smaller components. |
