Where to buy aftermarket muffler locally?

the exhaust is way too f'in loud right now. i want to buy an aftermarket muffler thats much quieter but is still performance.

2.25" inlet. Borla or something similar

where in the lower mainland can i buy one?? other than lordco cuz they are the most expensive rite?

hk20000 07-21-2010 02:38 PM

Garage5 can order it for you I am guessing. Overseas Auto does Borla too.

Phil@rise 07-21-2010 05:24 PM

do you understand the words coming outta op's mouth? he dunt want LORDCO SHIT

You probably want to go custom and so it's not so ugly, an aftermarket tip. IMO get it done right at a muffler shop, and just weld a new axel back to the custom piping so you don't sacrifice a nice sound/looks either.

the muffler itself could be purchased anywhere, its the piping that can be custom.

GabAlmighty 07-23-2010 05:56 AM

I hear glasspacks quieten down the sound quite a bit.

got mine at overseas auto, they were doing a special got a muffler for $100, a little loud but that's mainly my fault for going with a 2.5" pipe, got my pipe done at muffler man thanks to RS advice,
