OpenRoad Auto Group: Marketing Coordinator
 
We have an open position for a Marketing Coordinator. A lot of the work would be with developing the Scion brand in the lower mainland. I think they are really looking for a self-starter and proactive individual who is in touch with the youth demographic and newer marketing techniques.

Responsibilities Your contribution:

• Develop and implement OpenRoad Scion marketing plans
• Organize and coordinate street team staff
• Develop and execute guerrilla marketing campaigns
• Strategize and use social network media and new media tools
• Write and maintain weekly corporate and dealership blogs, Facebook and Twitter accounts
• Generate fresh online content and promotions
• Coordinate internet display advertising program
• Maintain and grow loyalty program
• Establish business partnership network, deliver co-promotions and maintain relations
• Produce customer relationship projects across brands and stores
• Coordinate active lifestyle projects, organize online and on-site events
• Deliver target marketing promotions and e-mail campaigns
• Maintain budgets and uphold compliance with brand and OEM marketing guidelines

Requirements What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:

• Two years plus experience as a marketing coordinator or advertising account executive
• Proven success in online social network marketing, blogging, guerrilla marketing, event coordination, co-promotions, customer relationship, content generation and partnerships
• Ability to communicate with the 18-30 active lifestyle demographic
• Solid experience in overall project management
• Strong ability in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Degree, diploma or equivalent experience in marketing, business, communications preferred
• Multiple language abilities, translation and business culture awareness an asset
• Automotive or retail experience, plus experience with automotive CRM software an asset
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent written communication skills and business relationship skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills – set priorities and meet deadlines
• Flexibility and ability to handle multiple duties and projects simultaneously
• Solid supervision skills
• Ability to work with minimal direction in a dynamic and changing environment
• Ability to manage stress and deliver results at a fast pace

sounds like a very cool job as you'll be introing a completely new car brand into the market, yet probably very challenging as the 18-30 group will be the most competitive, next to the entry level sedan market.
