I just tried logging in B.net for the first time in months. Didn't realize they changed the user interface. Took 15 mins to update and optimize my B.net. |
I updated star craft last week. I thought I'd have to download a bunch of shit but all I did was login to blizzard, pay the $39.99 or whatever it was and log into starcract no extra updates needed other then a 3 minute optimization. Unless you're ordering some collectors edition not sure why anyone would preorder when you can buy it online and have instant access. For me I just throw out the disk and box anyway, now a days you don't even need them for blizzard products just redownload it if you have to format or uninstall it. |
some ppl like the boxes... if u download it online... we get charged visa exchange rate... but we don't get HST!!!! haha |
Kerrigan jizz power too bad ass balling outta control keep crashing my computer.:notbad::awwyeah: |

I had money banked up from D3 RMAH though. Enough to pay off the next expansion most likely. :awwyeah: |
I like having a hard copy , It makes me feel like I own it and not the internet or Blizzard Posted via RS Mobile |
^ ya, good feeling right? HELL NO! reason why i stopped buying original copy is that the box is left to collect dust... i dont mind buying ps3 games to get the box because u need to change cds but with CPU id rather have digital copy because after you install the game with the cd the box n its contents are left to collect dust... |
ya gave up on hard copies. takes up too much space and i end up losing the key or the discs. virtual copy i can download the game anywhere anytime as long as i have internet. |
I bought it in store for the hard copy and got a free steel book case too, pretty neat. Pointless, but cool nonetheless. Posted via RS Mobile |
The only reason to buy a hard copy back then was for the game manual. The manual itself was as entertaining as the game itself. Well they fucked that part up. I rmb the first starcraft game the manual was its own story book .... read that shit a billion times on the toilet. |
I normally would agree and go digital. Especially with games available on Steam, I can go to any computer with Steam and login and play. But for StarCraft II specifically, I've decided well before Wings of Liberty's release date that I was going to get all 3 boxes like a collection. btw, with the bnet account thing, I can't remember do you still need the serial key every time you re-install? I thought you can link your copy with your bnet account. |
You don't need your serial key to re-install. You're serial key is linked with your b.net account. |
