GSR Milano Red fade Hey guys, I recently bought a integra GSR with milano red. I know fading is common with this color of paint. There are some spots on the car that are starting to fade. I've never detailed a car before as this is my first car. What should i do to make the faded parts less noticeable. Can someone recommend me some products to use? Thanks guys :) |
I hope your paint isn't as bad as this, but you should give 911fanatic a PM. 911fanatic's work on a faded red jetta: http://www.revscene.net/forums/911fa...i-t586933.html |
you'll want a machine to polish it out. by hand would be a huge waste of effort. i used menzerna powerfinish with orange pad on my girlfriends car and the red is almost perfect. |
^Orange + powerfinish is an awesome combo for sure |
Can you post a pic of the car? |

Doesn't look too bad in the pic, just a little faded. As pointed out above, A cutting pad and Power Finish should clean that up. If you want to pop by the shop, we can try a couple things to make sure you are buying what will get the job done. Give me a call. 604.561.5121 |
That fade doesn't look too bad, but perhaps looks different in person. The yellow on my car looks funny from certain angles and lighting. Ken, I'll be visiting hopefully before the summer meet! |
