I don't have a specific main, but I have been playing Guile a lot as of late. Still can't do FADC into U2, but least I can focus dash into ultra?

Spent around an hour playing with Chun-Li earlier against my brother's Ryu. I think I'ma try using her a bit too. Having troubles with hyakuretsu tho. Can't seem to get it out without having her do a poke.

I used Yun and Yang both a good amount in 3rd Strike, but I can't do Geneijin combos, so my Yang was always better than my Yun

Can anyone give me some tips for canceling? I watched some vids but I still don't really understand how you can cancel a normal with a normal or is that not possible? I think I'm cancelling when I'm doing the shoryuken to focus? I can also do the crouching MK to hadkouken to ultra. But that's one of the only times I can cancel also doing hadouken to focus but not really sure how I can combo the normals to specials and stuff like that.

I've only been in practice mode for the past hour or so with Ryu. I think I'm getting the hang of him! Just need to work on these combos.

anyone still play on PS3? seems like every switched to XBOX360 due to some lag issue in PS3....

i THINK chp 6 or 8 is when he talks about cancels, chains, and links which is what it sounds like you're interested in.

Awesome! Thanks for that it was chp 7 for the cancels but I watched almost all of the other ones too. Great vids and I like how you can see the joystick as he describes what to do.

I really really like this game. Even though I suck and get raped I still have a blast playing it. I don't know why I just started playing now! I should've picked it up a long time ago along with a stick. I've still been practicing with ryu and kind of getting better. Really really need to work on my timing and reactions though. It's only been a day of playing so I've still got a lot of time to improve and get better.
