Help: Glass Repair

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anybody here works in the glass industry? My fog light lens has a hole through it and I was wondering if it's possible to have it repaired/filled? BMW does not sell just the lens itself and there are no aftermarket companies who make them. The only other option is to buy the entire assembly which costs $160-$200'ish.

This is what it looks like. :(

Thanks!

Get one from a wrecker?

You can fill it in but I thought the process cost about ~$50+? that's about the price of a used foglight unit? You might want to take it out and see if even the glass is removable from the unit in the first place.

It's removable. I got lucky and one of the guys on BCBimmers has a spare unit! :)
