I asked our adjuster if we could buy the car and fix it up ourselves but she said no...but it may depend on the extent of damage done, if the frame is bent then I doubt it...
Did they rule you 100% at fault? If so your going to get raped with insurance(I got a 40% surcharge), but yea you can talk to your adjuster about repaying your at fault claim http://www.icbc.com/autoplan/costs/s...scount-protect

I just wrote off an '02 Si w/176k and I got 9Gs. No way could I have sold it for that! It breaks everything down in depth so you can see whether you're getting screwed or not and in what specific areas.
