so if anyone has some knowledge in this please, let me know :D |
i have a k03 stock turbo for sale, you can get it from me, and i will install it for you. |
the way to fix it is start taking things apart. could be many things. charge piping apart, pluged cat, open wastegate (but it would still rev higher) limp mode in the ecu.... the list goes on. |
do you have a boost gauge? |
You would probably have more luck posting on the VW vortex forums in the 1.8t Engine thread. That forum is filled with people who could tell you every single piece of metal and what it does. You'll get everything answered there. Heres a link. http://forums.vwvortex.com/forumdisp...T-Engine-Forum |
This thread is a year old. Why are you bumping it? |
Just to /thread... 325ist was actually correct and it turned out to be a clogged cat. |
thats lucky !! if he span a bearing that could have been a super expensive fix hahaha |
check to see of the hose going into the diverter valve popped off. that happens allllll the time on these engines! it happened to me everytime i hit about 120mph for awhile |
