"charcoal is the devil" |
please dont tell me this ban is on because they are afraid a forest fire will break out in the urban area, lol. No offense to anyone particular, but it just seems like Vancouver is full of a bunch of really dumb people. They wouldn't have to ban this if people just smartened up. (the same people that think Stanley park is a huge forest). If you have a fire anywhere, you should have a bunch of water, and maybe some fire suppression system. I remember as a kid going camping all the time, we always had a method to put out the fire properly. aka, water, stirr, more water, more stirring. And if its a backyard BBQ, just keep it away from your vynl siding on your house! I'm 100% positive that if you have an extinguisher or big cooler of water, nobody is going to tell you that you cannot have a fire ...if they do, send them to me |
