Call Teresen Gas about the smell tell them you smell what you think is a gas leak in the area. They'll most likely send a tech with an analyzer right away and then notify the authorities and it will be taken more seriously.
The rest will fall into place.

ah geez things just got more interesting today.

One of the crackheads from the house made a round through the whole neighborhood today knocking on all our doors telling us to stay away from that nice lady I mentioned in my first post. How she's crazy, etc...

This crackhead lady proceeds to tell me to stay away from the nice lady, and they will be kicking her out...blah blah.... and then she goes on to accuse her of 1 count of animal cruelty, saying she tortured a cat, and secondly 1 count of bestiality with her dog.

It's clearly evident the crackies inside the house are trying to have her evicted and gone, because she's always on their ass about their drug activities giving them a hard time.

This nice lady they're trying to evict has been nothing but great to all of us, she's super friendly with all the neighbors, and every week she takes hours out of her day to sweep and completely clean the whole back alley for everyone. So if people have garbage out of place, if there is loose gravel laying about, she will spend hours cleaning, sweeping and putting everything in it's place. She does this just to keep things looking good in the hood.

Meanwhile on the other hand the only thing the crackheads have done around here is break into peoples cars and stole change.... my parents car included.

She sounds like a nice cracker to me she's sketchin on pebbles dude maybe they talk to her or follow her.

I guess what I'm tying to say is don't trust anyone from a cracker house there is nice crackers just like there is not so nice crackers but they are crackers none the less. If she is clean and legit there is no reason for her to live in a cracker house money is no excuse. Clean drug free constructive members of society have people who love them and will help them.
Don't let the cracker wool cover your eyes.
I'm serious about the Teresen gas thing too, that will bring all the needed attention to your meth lab issue. Unless you're getting influenced by second hand cracker activity and there is no meth lab. If so there is pebbles that need sweeping in the alley the nice cracker lady is back there with an extra broom waiting lol.

It is, but calling the cops and reporting that there is a meth lab requires evidence. Are you telling the cop to go to the house, knock on the door and ask if there is a meth lab. IF there really is one, they probably had reports of it from the neighbourhood.

Yeah, don't listen to me, because I'm speaking from first hand experience.

Is it the Central Park in Burnaby?

Speaking from first hand I'm-a-police-officer experience, I would still counsel people to not follow the advice you gave. IE. making false reports and statements.

Yes, the proverbial squeaky wheel gets the grease. However, for us to act on information and have charges result from our actions and have the charges result in convictions, we need good, solid, TRUTHFUL information.

Voltaire and I suggested the proper channels to go through (specific sections: Drug Section and Property Crime Unit). Getting plates and descriptions of vehicles, people, behaviours is good, but they need to be reported properly in order for the Justice system to be able to work in the end. Too many cases are thrown away in court because of technicalities in Search Warrant applications (thereby making all evidence gained in a Search Warrant nul and void in court).

Of course, if you're the City of Pitt Meadows, all you need is a printout from BC Hydro showing a month or two of higher power use, to come in and search a person's house for a grow op... especially if it's an end townhouse with electric heat and the power spikes just happen to be in the middle of one of the coldest winters in a decade...

Remember the story of the "Eagle Cam" guy who got busted as well, because the city thought he was running a grow op, due to all the computers he had for webcam servers and such? Apparently the city's "investigation" sort of overlooked the business license...

1. Remember the car, license plate. Call 911 and say there's a guy swirving around and you think that its a drunk driver.

^^^
Police will usually pull them over and do a check up. By doing this, your not saying that HE IS DRUNK and your not really BSing. So in a way you are protecting yourself.

2. It's buyer beware dude, sorry to hear but there's nothing you can do. I mean, you can take one of the advice above by going through civil court, but the chances of you winning is very very slim. Because unless you have written proof about the condition of the car, your shit out of luck man

wobuffet 08-23-2010 01:39 AM

i heard if you call in and say possible gunshots fired police will be there really soon!!
you're not really BSing and to be honest, many things could be mistaken for a gunshot.

Soundy 08-23-2010 09:40 AM

And they'll grill you about HOW you know you've heard gunshots; they're not going to just take you at your word.

My wife and I both grew up with guns; we know full well what a gunshot sounds like... we've called in a couple times when we've heard them at the end of our street, and it took a LOT to convince the dispatchers we really knew what we'd heard were guns.

distanc3 08-23-2010 09:44 PM

first case - if there are tenants living in the garage you may file a complaint(i assume from the city inspector?) and they will have someone check it out. if there's a meth lab they can take it from there.

zulutango 08-24-2010 07:27 AM

And remember that all those calls you make when you lie to them, are recorded and are excellent evidence that can be used against you in a mischief charge.

G-spec 08-24-2010 07:58 AM

yea it's close to central park burnaby, and no I'm definitely not gonna make any false statements to the police. All I'm trying to do is make them aware of whats going on, and if they refuse to listen than that's on them.
I'm not naive enough to think they would run a full blown investigation based on just a phone call from me, but I really did think they would at least go knock on the door and inspect the premises.

Meanwhile I'm gonna sit here and hope that these crackheads will stop cookin crack inside the house, stop breaking into neighborhood cars, and stop the constant drug deliveries to the house.

at this point the chances of the cops coming to at least sniff around a bit are the same as my hopes coming true.

I understand though from the police perspective, this area is not a high risk area at all for them, if it was somewhere in some hood in Surrey then maybe a different story.

^ sounds like some house i know of in my neighbourhood, is the house on a street corner?
