Koodo & Bold 9000 help

Hey guys, so I've been trying with no success so I'm hoping somebody out there can help me
I bought a used Bold 9000 for my cousin, he is with Koodo
the phone is unlocked, and we have already added data to his plan so it is compatible with the Blackberry
phone calls, texting works perfectly fine but his data will not work whatsoever
what do I need to adjust in the settings to get it to work?
thanks

are you able to create a BIS account from koodo bis webpage and send service books from that website?

That we have not tried yet,
I tried just now though by making an account on that site and it says the device is not registered with the wireless service provider, I tried registering it by choosing Host Routing Table like it says on the site but it can't register yet

Makes me think the previous owner did not release his email/pin/imei with his previous service provider and that the phone is still locked to that

In that case I'll have to contact the previous owner (which I can) and get him to call in?
the phone was originally AT&T

Yea the best would be to ask the previous owner if he released the phone. If he did, all you can do is go to koodo and go wtf is going on

koodo doesn't guarantee data service for non-koodo hspa phones. You should take the data add on off for now.
