nice car. sleeper for sure. |
how much boost? how many ponies? |
that kit has a stock motor setting for 5 psi making around a 110hp gain, but chances are he's playing with more boost, that kit can make 700hp or something ridiculous like that |
damn that sounds sounds badass, im guessing hes runnin no more then 10psi, post videos! |
The car is setup quite conservatively. I had plans for a built motor to swapped in before cranking up the boost. But my intrests are now elsewhere - motorcycles! I can't afford to keep both hobbies and have reluctantly decided that the Z needs to go. The car made 257rwhp and 246ftlb on Racing Greed's Mustang (heartbreaker :() dyno. Apparently RG's dyno reads particularly low (even for a Mustang dyno). I was told that stock Z's only put out ~180rwhp. Using the conversion factor off of that, this car should be making ~408hp at the crank. Thanks for looking, guys! |
wow, definately a sleeper! keep the car, sell the bike!;) post up a sound clip or something! glws!:D |
nice car, VQ stock block can safely handle 400whp for daily driving, leaving things like transmission and clutch relatively stock, anything more than 400 and things will start giving way. So with this minimal boost setting you got at around 260whp this thing should be a delight to daily drive without any hassles whatsoever. If I bought it from you I would personally bump up the boost for an even 350whp and call it a day. I still estimate that you have at least 300whp though, I'm pretty sure the dyno reading is off, I've seen other dyno charts for 350's over on the VQ forums and even on super low boost I've never seen anything below 300whp. good luck with sale, you should try posting it for sale over at our local Nissan/Infiniti club as well http://www.niclub.ca/ |
ya average stock Z dynos around 220-230whp considering 287hp on the fly |
Sick setup! GLWS |
Bump! Thanks for all the comments, guys! |
