Roofing Companies

Hey,

Does anyone know of a qualify roofing company, that's been in the business a while, and BBB certified as well? Or a roofing company that they dealt with before and had the roof replaced that did a good job?

Or a website with reviews on lower mainland roofers?

I'm looking at replacing my roof, seeing cost, prices and as well reviews.

Thanks in advance.

I remembering getting the quotes for replacing the roof at our company, they did a fairly good job, even comes with a fairly long warranty and BBB certified

The company was Cambie Roofing

I think the problem with roofing companies is that the turnover rate can be so high that its quality changes dramatically all the time. I for example would recommend the company we used as my dad said they did a great job and at a great price. However, my grandmother used them for their entire complex and they were terrible as they didn't have enough workers and many of the days no one showed up. This was about a year and a half later. So try finding people who are "currently" using a roofing company that their happy with or have just finished the job.

how big is your roof?

roofing companies can easilly fuck over somone who doesnt know what it should cost, my two neighbors got their roof's replaced with the asphalt shingles within the same year

the elderly woman paid about 12k for hers to be completely stripped and replaced while the younger family paid just under 7 for theirs

east indians might not be the best house builders, but generally they are pretty damn good roofers, so dont be scared of them :P

Give raven roofing a call. My dad and my brother both work for them, not sure if they do residential roofs though.

Cambie Roofing should be good as they gave me the lowest price with great warranty.

Sears I would choose next, but the price was abit higher.

Home Depot sucked because I called them 3 times to give me a quote but they never came to visit my place.

Roofing warranty's are crap.

Labor: If the company goes out of business your screwed.

Material: the warranty is on a sliding scale so every year it's worth less and it does not include labour.

Roy Dennis Roofing or Euro Roofing

Personally, for big ticket items such as roofing, I'd go for Sears because I know that if there are any problems, I'd be covered ( presumably less hassle than other companys.)

With that said though, my neighbour just had their roofing done by Sears and they left a pretty big mess. There were over 100 old nails left lying on the ground under the fence between our houses. My neighbour suspects that Sears contracted the job out to some other company. But over all they seemed okay, can't comment on the quality though... They finished in about 3 - 4 days, can't remember exactly.

Sears, Costco and I think Homedepot just contracts out.
