Upgrade Question: Nvidia 8800GTS vs GTX460

Thinking of upgrading my Video Card.

Sys info:
Intel C2D 6700 oc'ed @ 3.6Ghz
4GB Ram

Currently, I have an old Nvidia 8800GTS 320MB GDDR3
Its been serving me very very wellllll in the past 3 years till now.

Until SC2, I cant max out the setting.
So, I m thinking of Upgrade my Video Card.

Just wondering, If I upgrade to Nvidia GTX460 1GB GDDR5

Will this make big difference ?

That's like asking if you'd see any performance difference going from a p4 to an i7.

i have a similar setup,
just wondering, do i need to upgrade my CPU in order to get maximum performance off the Nvidia 460 / ATI 5850 video cards? or the E6700 is enough already?

I believe if you OC your E6700 to 3.6~4Ghz should be able to max out GTX460

hmm.. jacking your thread.. xD

ASUS Radeon HD 5770 Cu Core 1Gb DDR5 PCI-E

would my phenom II x2 550 be enough to use this video card at its full potential?

also, what about the radeon 5830?

I'm debating whether i should buy the 5770 now or wait for the 5830 to go cheaper next year.
