Due to unforeseen circumstances, the PNE has been advised that tonight's Tiesto Concert, scheduled for 8:00pm at the Pacific Coliseum, has been postponed.

The promoter, Solid Entertainment, advises ticketholders to retain their tickets, which will be honoured at a new concert date to be announced shortly. Details of the refund policy will also be announced at that time.

First of all a big event like this shouldn't be just "postponed", there are hundreds of people who came from out of town for this weekend and/or made time out of their work schedule to attend.
IMO they should have kept the night going with the other DJ's then re-schedule Tiesto and offer discounts/refund/incentive for ticket holders.

Solid really dropped the ball on this one, obviously it's not Solid's fault but they definitely could have handled it better. Gonna be a lot of pissed off ppl showing up at the door in the next few hours.

They could have just loaded up Tiesto's premix sets for all that matters. I figure the people who taxi down from wherever could have at least had a "decent" party night rather then doing nothing now. THEN offer a reschedule time for Tiesto. I'm sure all the other local DJ's were already there.
